AWARDS & NOMINATIONS

The Nominations and Awards Committee is seeking nominations for awards to be presented at the 1999 Collaborations Conference. Again this year, the Awards ceremony will include all three associations (VRA, Va APSE, and VaACCSES) at a banquet on Monday, August 16. We want to recognize and highlight VRA’s outstanding recipients for all seven distinguished awards. As a quick reference, here are the seven categories:

Excellence in Rehabilitation (Reedy)

Special Business (Hammond)

Professional (Dawson)

Doctor (Hoover)

Excellence in Rehabilitation by a VRA Member (Anderson)

Leader in Removal of Barriers (Stillfried)

Person with a Disability (Distinguished Achievement)
