Please take a moment and express your support for our amendments by emailing or calling members of the Health and Human Resources Sub-committees of the Senate Finance and House Appropriations Committees.  These are the people who will be saying grace over which amendments will be supported.

 

There is always a tremendous amount of competition among amendment requests, but this year's competition is even more intense because of the revenue shortfalls, budget cuts, and a slowing economy that is headed for a recession or may already be in one. 

 

So please, take a few moments and call or send emails to these folks and let them know our requests are critical to people with disabilities.  If they don't hear from us, they'll assume what we're requesting is less important than the other requests they're considering and our requests will go the bottom of the stack.
